Here’s a fun match game to play using all kinds of arctic animals.  It’s a fun game to make and play during the winter or any time you want a quick easy game. When playing with younger kids, use fewer cards for the match game.  For older kids, use all the cards. Have more Arctic fun and make our Polar Bear Paper bag puppet.

What you'll need:

• Playing card print out

• Glue Stick                                                     

• Colored construction paper or cardstock cut into 3 x 3-inch squares

• Optional: laminator

• Scissors

How to make it:

1. Print out the match game cards.  Trim along the blue lines.

2. Paste them onto the cardstock or color construction paper. Trim.

3. Optional:  For extra strength, laminate and cut apart.

To Play:

Shuffle the cards and lay them face down on a table.  Take turns flipping over two cards.  If they match, keep them in a pile next to you. If they don’t match turn them back over.  When all cards are matched up, the game is over.  The player with the most matches wins!
