What a fun way to transform your autumn leaves.  This autumn project is the perfect way to spend a chilly autumn day.  Print out some of our leaf buddies, add your own leaves and color.  Kids love trying the different shaped leaves on the pictures. What you'll need:

• Assortment of leaves

• Leaf Buddy Printouts

• Crayons, Markers, or color pencils to decorate

• Glue stick

• Scissors

 

How to make it:

1. Go to the park or your yard and collect an assortment of leaves.  If your leaves are wet, carefully pat them dry with a paper towel.  Try collecting more than one shape. 

2. Use your scissors to trim off the stem.  Carefully flatten the leaves and try them on your printout.

3. Color your leaf buddy picture with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

4. Attach your clean dry leaves to your leaf buddies with a glue stick.
