Corral your rolls of wrapping paper by using a toilet paper tube!
You can secure the edges of wrapping paper by cutting a toilet paper or paper towel tube up the center and wrapping it around the tube of wrapping paper.

Easily cut several tomatoes at one time:
you can easily cut a handful of cherry tomatoes or pitted olives by placing them between 2 plastic lids. Place 1 lid rim up and put your tomatoes on top. Place the other lid upside down on top of the tomatoes. Place your hand flat on top of the top lid and slice between the two lids - easy!
Protect your deviled eggs with plastic wrap and toothpicks: After making deviled eggs, storing them without making a mess can be tricky. To keep your deviled eggs looking good, insert decorative toothpicks before covering them with plastic.

Remove egg shell from a bowl easily: We've all cracked an egg into a bowl and gotten a bit of shell into the bowl. To retrieve the shell easily, dip your finger into some water and then remove the shell. Just a bit of water will cut right through the egg white
Fill a zip bag easily by using a cup: Just insert the bag into the cup, open it, and wrap the bag up over the lip of the cup. That will hold the bag open so you can fill it easily. It also keeps the zipper clean- no mess no fuss!
Prevent dirt loss with a coffee filter: Before planting new plants in pots, place a basket coffee filter in the bottom of the pot to prevent dirt loss when watering. The filter lets the water flow through leaving the dirt in the pot.
Shred chicken quickly using a mixer:
If you need a lot of shredded chicken for your recipe, place the cooked de-boned chicken in your mixer with a paddle attachment, turn on low and it will easily shred the chicken.
Clean a blender in a snap:
Clean a blender quickly by adding a dollop of dish soap and warm water and running it for a minute then rinse.

Pit cherries easily by using a chopstick and a water bottle: Remove the pits easily by placing the cherry on top of an empty water bottle and pushing the chopstick through the cherry. The pit will drop into the bottle- no muss no fuss!
Keep doors from slamming on little fingers: Little kids love to shut doors. Keep fingers from slamming in the door by taking a section of pool noodle, make a slit down one side and fit it over the edge of the door
Clean a foggy windshield with a clean eraser! This winter when you hop into your car and the windshield is foggy- use a clean chalk board eraser to easily clean the fog off the windshield.
Illuminate a dark cabinet with a clip on Barbecue light. Re-purpose a clip on barbecue light to light up a dark garage cabinet or drawer. It's an easy solution when overhead lights aren't available.
Un-stick a stubborn backpack or jacket zipper with a q-tip and petroleum jelly. If you have a backpack or jacket zipper that doesn't zip easily, apply a little Vaseline to the zipper with a q-tip and the zipper will operate much more smoothly.
Keep a door from shutting while unloading groceries by using the rubber band trick. You can depress the latch on a door knob by looping one end of a rubber band on the inside knob, twisting the band and attaching the other end on the outside knob. This will keep the latch depressed until you are done unloading.
Find out which clothes you wear with this neat hanger tip: Turn all your hanging clothes hangers so that the hanger opening faces the front of your closet. As you use each item, turn your hanger around. At the end of the month any hanger that hasn't been turned are clothes not worn.
How to make an emergency lamp using a flashlight When the power goes out it's nice to have a lantern. If you only have a flashlight or clicklight - you can make an impromptu lantern by placing a flashlight or clicklight inside the bottom of a cleaned out wipes container. Take off the label and your're done.
Keep mixing bowls from slipping:
Kids love to help in the kitchen & stirring ingredients is a simple task to get them involved. To keep mixing bowls from slipping around on the counter, place a damp towel under the bowl to prevent the bowl from moving around.
Keep bath toys from getting moldy:
To keep bath toys from getting moldy and waterlogged, seal the hole with a dab of hot glue. The toys will still be fun but won't retain water that will lead to unhealthy mold forming.
Here's how to get the seeds out of pomegranates without the mess: Love pomegranates but hate the mess of removing seeds? Simply cut them in half, hold the cut end over a large bowl and whack the back of the fruit with a wooden spoon - they come right out!
Need room temperature eggs for baking but they are all cold? Bring cold eggs to room temperature faster by placing them in a bowl of warm water. In about 10-15 minutes they should be just right for using in your baking.

Use a bookend and a binder clip to form an easel for your tablet Need a quick easel for your tablet, cookbook or presentation- Use a book end and a binder clip attached to the edge - simple, inexpensive and easy.
Use Silica Packages to help preserve carved pumpkins Halloween is around the corner. To help preserve your carved pumpkin, place a Silica package inside. Remember to remove when lighting your Jack-o-Lantern The silica helps absorb mildew causing moisture.
Wash lots of toys in the dishwasher
It's cold and flu season. An easy way to wash a lot of toys quickly is to put them on the top shelf of your dishwasher. This works well for solid plastic toys. Don't put toys in that have hollow openings, batteries or paper products
Limit the amount of soap per serving for your pump bottle
Little kids often use way too much soap when washing hands. To limit the amount of soap used per pump, add a rubber band to the neck of your pump bottle - no more wasted soap!

Use crumpled foil balls in your dryer load to cut down on static in the dryer.
