How to make it:
-
Paint the bottom of the paper bowl brown & let dry.
-
Print out the Horse Puppet pattern and cut out the shapes in the color construction paper as indicated.
-
Glue the white stripe onto the horse's face in the center.
-
Glue on the eyes on either side of the white stripe. Use your black marker to make a pupil in the center of the eye.
-
Attach the hair at the top of the stripe with glue.
-
To attach the ears: Make a pleat fold on the straight edge of the ear and tape to the back of the head piece at the top.
-
Glue the facepiece to the front of the bag about 1 ½” from the fold. Secure it in the back also with a piece of tape.
-
When your bowl is dry, add two nostrils and a smile on the bottom of the bowl. Attach the bowl to the bag with staples on either side of the bag sides.
-
Attach the bandana piece under the muzzle of the horse’s face with glue. Add some details to the bandana if you like.
That’s it, Yee Haw!
