Mean Old Witch Mini Book
One of our favorite Halloween rhymes is put together in this fun little witch’s hat book. We have two versions – black and white and a full-color version. Both can be personalized by inserting your child’s photo or draw your own face. Either way, they turn out super cute and quick to make. Try out our other Kidfunideas Halloween projects too.
What you'll need:
-
Construction paper: black
-
Stapler
-
Glue Stick
-
Scissors
-
Mean Old Witch Book Pattern printout
-
Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
-
Optional: Child’s photo
How to make it:
-
Print out the Mean Old Witch Book template pattern and trace it onto 2 sheets of black construction paper to be the covers for your book.
-
Next, print out and trim apart from the other pages of the book. We have a black and white version that can be colored or a color version.
-
Once you have your pages cut apart, put them in order.
-
If you are using a child’s photo to customize, print 2, and trim away all but the face on the photos. Use a Glue stick to attach the face shape onto the witch’s body on the second and last page. If you don’t have any photos, just draw in the face of the witch with colored pencils or pens.
-
Cut out and glue the title label onto one of the cover sheets. Sandwich your book pages together with the covers and staple at the top of the hat with two staples.
-
For a finishing touch, use a white crayon or silver marker on the cover to draw in the brim of the hat – that’s it!
