Spring Tree Blossoms
This pretty Tree blossom project is an easy kid’s spring craft that looks great hanging on the wall or frig. We used popcorn dipped in pink paint to be our blossoms. Use the branch printout or draw your own branch on big paper. Try out our other spring-themed projects too!
What you'll need:
-
9 x 11” piece of construction paper for mounting.
-
Tree branch printout or paint or markers to draw your own branch
-
Glue stick
-
White glue
-
Scissors
-
Pink paint
How to make it:
-
Print out the branch printout. Carefully cut away the white area and mount it on a piece of construction paper using a glue stick. If your crafter is a beginner use a paintbrush and brown craft paint to paint your own branch. You can use whatever size paper you like.
-
Pop some popcorn and let cool. It is best to use light popcorn without the butter coating.
-
Lightly toss your popcorn in pink craft paint and set it on wax paper to dry. Once your popcorn is fully dry, dip one end in white glue and place it along your tree branch. Fill your tree branch with “blossoms” and set it aside to dry.
-
Optional: cut out and glue on one of the birds to add to your picture.
