Here’s a fun game to play using all kinds of things from the harvest.  It's perfect to make and play at Thanksgiving while you are waiting for the big feast or any time you want a quick and easy game.  When playing with younger kids use fewer cards for the match game.  For older kids, use all the cards.

What you'll need:

• Playing card print out

• Scissors

• Colored construction paper or cardstock cut into 3 x 3-inch squares

• Glue Stick

• Optional: laminator

How to make it:

1. Print out the match game cards.  Trim along the brown lines.

2. Paste them onto the cardstock or colored construction paper squares.

3. Optional: For extra strength, laminate each piece and cut it apart.

To Play: 

​

Shuffle the cards and lay them face down on a table.  Take turns flipping over two cards.  If they match, keep them in a pile next to you.  If they don't match turn them back over.  When all the cards are matched up, the game is over.  The player with the most matches wins!
